Cheadle Royal is one of the North West’s leading business parks, comprising over 600,000 sq. ft of office, leisure and amenity space, set within approximately 70 acres. The park is ideally positioned within the Stockport and Manchester city centre commuter belts, offering excellent connectivity and a thriving business community.
Wienerberger House is a high-specification, Grade A, two-storey ‘L’ shaped building, offering 78 on-site car parking spaces. The building is currently occupied by Wienerberger, the UK’s leading provider of wall, roof and landscaping solutions, who will continue to operate their UK headquarters from the site.
This acquisition marks Northern Group’s fourth in just 12 months, as we continue to grow our presence across Greater Manchester. In the past year, we have also acquired the DKNY building at 76 King Street, 19 Spring Gardens, and Sir William Siemens House on Princess Parkway. These join our award-winning developments in Ancoats, including One Silk Street, Ice Plant, and Jactin House.
Cheadle Royal Business Park was originally developed by AMEC and is home to many well-established occupiers including David Lloyd Leisure, Premier Inn, Balfour Beatty, Regus, Belmain Finance, Freeclaim and The Mansion Group. The nearby area also includes retail anchors such as Sainsbury’s and John Lewis.
Northern Group are pleased to announce the successful acquisition of Wienerberger House, marking further, significant growth as we branch further into Stockport and Cheshire. This prime location has exceptional connectivity and boasts a strategic position in Greater Manchester and we are lucky to inherit a great tenant in Wienerberger and proud of our growing portfolio of residential and commercial Greater Manchester.
